What happens to your clothes?

The clothes & Shoes that you donate through Rag Box are Recycled, they are sorted and graded at a Birmingham  textile recycling facility – Dark Bull Textiles UK Ltd.

Over 45 trained people are employed to sort and grade over 100 tonnes of material every week prior to being exported around the world.

We collect your unwanted clothing at Home Work or School and via Rag Box clothing banks.

We Collect all over UK

Our drivers will collect all the Clothes via bags or  boxes from various locations also from the clothing banks and bring the bags back to our processing warehouse.

At the warehouse, our team of experienced workers sort and grade all the clothes into various product types. The material is baled and place in a 40ft shipping container for shipment to Africa or Pakistan.

We Deliver Worldwide

Low grade textiles are made into industrial wiping cloths, for the car industry made in our warehouse and others are sent to Pakistan to be made into carpets, underlay and mattress linings. 

The Good quality clothing is transported to Africa and other developing nations where your old clothes are re-used.
