The 'Rag Box' recycling programme has been designed to provide regular fundraising for schools or clubs in the Midlands.
We aim to raise awareness about textile recycling also increasing recycling rates we can all help the environment by ensuring less material goes to landfill.
The scheme is completely FREE, and your school or club will be paid for every kg recycled. You can raise hundreds of pounds with every collection made!
Who we are
We started buying used textiles from charity collection depots, sorting and grading them to send to Ghana in 2019 under the brand name Dark Bull. We have grown rapidly doubling our work force to over 40 and doubling our warehouse to 30'000 sq ft we are still growing. We buy over 100 Tonnes a week from all over the UK and export to 7 countries. We opened a Vintage shop in Digbeth and now we have set up Rag Box to help schools and clubs raise money for the good causes of their choice.
Meet our staff
Our staff is made up of local people living in Birmingham who come from Ghana, Nigeria, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Georgia oh and a couple of born and bred Brummies. We are a TEAM!
